Our matching process involves the following steps:
Step 1: You complete the registration form, please include a landline or Skype name so we can contact you, please also tick the box to acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Terms and Conditions.
Step 2: We check our database and identify the best potential Candidate(s); we phone you to discuss our potential Candidate(s), answer any questions you may have and clarify any requirements/expectations etc.
Step 3: If you are interested in our Candidate we will send you a Profile of the Candidate, and if she (or he) is an Au Pair we will also send you her ‘Dear Family’ letter. If you have requested a Nanny we will also send you the Nanny's CV. In most cases, the Candidate has already been fully vetted, however, if the Candidate has only been partially vetted because she has only just registered and still needs to submit specific information we chase the Candidate to submit this as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary delays.
Step 4: If you are happy to proceed, we arrange either a face to face meeting if the Candidate is already in the UK or a telephone call or video call. We appreciate that you will be very busy and we will therefore provide sample questions for this first ‘meeting’ which you are free to use in full, in part or not at all.
Step 5: After this initial ‘meeting’ we will phone both you and the Candidate to get feedback. At this stage you might both want to proceed, want a further meeting or look for another Candidate. In case of the latter, we will repeat the process. If you want a further meeting we will help you organise this, also if there is a specific issue you want to address in that further meeting we will aim to help you with this also through our on-going dialogue with the Candidate.
Step 6: If both of you want to proceed, we will ask you to send us a ‘Letter of Invitation’ for the Candidate if she is an Au Pair. We will provide you with a sample Letter of Invitation, which you are free to adapt to suit your specific situation. At this stage we will also invoice you for the Placement Fee. Once we have received your Letter of Invitation and received your payment we will formalise all arrangements with the Au Pair Candidate and tell the Candidate to make travel arrangements to come to the UK. If the Candidate is already in the UK we will make sure the Candidate is clear when and where to meet you. If the Candidate is a Nanny we will provide you with a draft employment contract if you and the nanny will be based in the UK. You will have to provide a contract to your Nanny within two months of the start of employment under UK Law. We can also bring you in touch with Nanny Payroll Agencies. At this stage, we will also invoice you for the Placement Fee.
Step 7: Once the placement has been made we will provide on-going support. We are only a phone call away if there are any issues. Also, for all Au Pair placements except Summer placements and for all Nanny placements longer than 2 months we operate a 30 DAY FREE REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE.
